Kangsar Malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) division Chief M. Bhupalan said that the Malaysian Government should appoint an Indian representative in each parliamentary constituency to identify and handle their problems.

He said that these representatives would highlight the problems being faced by the residents in each constituency.

Speaking to reporters after opening the 15th delegates conference of the Bukit Gantang MIC District congress in Taiping, he said it was important that former leaders and members are roped in to further strengthen the party.

Bhupalan stressed that youths should help in coordinating programmes for the party and therefore can be groomed into future leaders, the Star Online reported. (ANI)
