Ali Lohan is crying in her Cocoa Puffs after being told to hit the road by a famed music manager she sought as her representative. The manager, Johnny Wright, was apparently approached on Ali's behalf by the Maloof Brothers, but Wright never followed up on these initial contacts. This didn't stop the evil Dina Lohan from claiming Wright was all ready to add Ali to his stable of musical stars, which already includes the Jonas Brothers. Wright took offense at Dina's presumption and released the following statement:

Johnny Wright would like to set the record straight regarding his involvement with Ali Lohan.
Johnny Wright has never met with Ali Lohan, has never been introduced to Ali Lohan, nor has he had a meeting with Ali or Dina Lohan regarding Ali's music career. While he wishes Ali Lohan the best in all her endeavors, Mr. Wright has never had any intention of speaking with Ali Lohan regarding her career. Any story that has surfaced about such a meeting holds no merit and is completely false.
Wright Entertainment Group has never had any interest or intention of adding Ali Lohan as an artist on the company's roster, which currently includes Justin Timberlake, Jonas Brothers, Janet Jackson and Ciara amongst others.

This would make great fodder for the next season of Living Lohan - unfortunately, it doesn't look like that particular show will be renewed. If I were Ali I'd start picking up community college brochures.

Star Trek star Patrick Stewart to play Time Lord in Dr Who

Star Trek star Patrick Stewart has agreed to do a major role in the next ‘Doctor Who’ series after teaming up with the show’s Doctor, played by David Tennant, on stage.

The two had starred in a production of Hamlet in the summer, and Stewart, who played Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek, was offered the role, which is a two-part, involving the Daleks.

The series is set to be screened next year, and it’s a dream come true for 68-year-old Stewart, who had in the past revealed that he would like to star in the show.

“I have been a fan, actually yes, and I’m deeply dismayed that I was never asked to be in it. I think it’s a terrific series,” the Sun quoted him as saying.

A source further revealed that the two actors are fast becoming firm friends and looking forward to working together.

“Patrick and David are firm friends now, and want to work together again. They’ve got chemistry and that’s what Doctor Who is all about,” a source said.

“Patrick’s role is still being finalised but the plan is for him to play a renegade Time Lord called the Meddling Monk, who was last seen in Doctor Who in the 1960s. The Doctor thought his entire race was wiped out and gets a huge surprise to find another member of his species,” the source added.

The Monk was originally played by Carry On film favourite Peter Butterworth, and an insider stated that talks are going on for the show.

“Patrick’s agent is now involved and everyone is really keen. His role is a belter,” an insider added. (ANI)

Dannii Minogue, Emma Bunton accused of snubbing X Factor singers

Aussie popstar Dannii Minogue and ‘Spice Girl’ Emma Bunton have been slammed by singing hopefuls at ‘X Factor’, for skipping most of their expected commitments.

Minogue, who along with Baby Spice Bunton had to spend time mentoring with the group, was accused of snubbing them in favour of hanging out with gal pals in St Tropez.

Dannii was to help the six young singers from her own singing contest show The X Factor during a three-day rehearsal in the south of France.

However, Minogue has apparently ditched them and gave the crew just 45 minutes of her time.

"We hardly saw them at all Dannii spent less than an hour in total with us during the three days and Emma spent even less," the Daily Telegraph quoted singing hopeful Suzie Furlonger as saying.

She claimed that she was looking forward to get expert coaching by the two singers, but instead got a raw deal.

"She was nice when she was around but we didn''t get to know her at all," she said of Minogue. (ANI)

Steven Spielberg’s nearing last days with ‘Paramount Pictures’ and his new joint venture with Indian billionaire Anil Ambani’s Reliance Entertainment is set to mark a significant power change for Hollywood.

While Oliver Stone used Chinese money for producing his biopic of George W. Bush, Spielberg’s new deal with Ambani demonstrates Hollywood’s inclination towards foreign financers.

The shift demonstrates Hollywood’s requirement for overseas investments, especially following the credit crunch that has made it difficult to borrow money in the US, reports TimesOnline.

Spielberg will soon form a new company with the Indian ‘Reliance Entertainment’ that is a part of a Mumbai-based corporation specialising in almost everything, from telecommunications to energy.

‘Paramount Pictures’ shall formally announce the end of their movie-making relationship with Spielberg’s ‘DreamWorks’.

Spielberg and Paramount have together produced hit animated blockbusters like Shrek and live action movies such as ‘Saving Private Ryan’, before the company''s animation division was spun-off into a public company in 2004. (ANI)

Costner set to reprise classic role in ‘Bull Durham’ sequel

The much-awaited sequel to the acclaimed flick ‘Bull Durham’ is on its way to being made.

Kevin Costner is already in talks with director Ron Shelton to discuss reprising the role of Crash Davis from the popular baseball flick.

Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon are also expected to return as pitcher Nuke LaLoosh and baseball groupie Annie Savoy, who are now married and owners of a Major League team that Costner manages, reports The New York Post.

Kristen Kerr, is being considered for the role of one of Crash''s love interests, according to an insider. (ANI)

Arnold has been single since splitting with his third wife Shelby Roos, and Shriver has taken the responsibility of fixing him up with her friends.
