Awami National Party leader shot dead in Karachi

Awami National Party (ANP) senior leader Fazlur Rehman Kakakhel was killed in an
ambush in Karachi this afternoon.
Rehman, vice president of ANPs Sindh unit, was killed by armed men riding a
motorcycle on Abul Isfahani Road near Sohrab Goth, the Dawn reported.
Confirming the incident, another ANP leader, Iqbal, said the attack was carried
out at about 4p.m.
When news of the incident spread, it led to violence in some Pukhtoon-dominated
localities of Karachi. (ANI)
