Scarlett Johansson and hubby Ryan Reynolds are desperately trying to start a family.

The couple, who got married in an intimate ceremony in September, are even discussing the best time for Scarlett to conceive, reports China Daily.

"Scarlett and Ryan are madly in love and want to start a family sooner rather than later. Scarlett is keen to be a young mom and does not plan to be the sort of women who leaves motherhood too late and starts worrying about her biological clock ticking,” a source told the Chicago Sun Times newspaper.

The 23-year-old actress has recently completed filming her new movie ''He''s Not That Into You''.

And the actress isn''t due to start working on her next project ''Amazon'' until late next year, fuelling rumours that this could be the perfect time for her to get pregnant.

In fact, the pair is reportedly contemplating adopting a child from an American inner city. (ANI)

Tom Hanks'' wife Rita Wilson is caught up in a legal battle over the non-payment of a ‘The Beatles’ poster.

The actress made a deal to pay 50,000 pounds for a vintage picture of the Fab Four to seller Melissa Pearl.

Wilson was buying the poster for her actor hubby.

However, the only condition she had was that Pearl had to provide proof of authenticity, according to papers filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court.

But when Pearl failed to furnish the proof, Wilson backed out of the deal, according to celebrity website TMZ.com.

And now, Pearl is demanding payment for the print, with an additional 200,000 pounds "for what Peal absurdly characterised as her time and trouble to obtain the evidence requested by Wilson that the poster was authentic,” reports The Daily Star.

Thus, Wilson is searching for a judge to legally declare she can walk away from the agreement. (ANI)

While talking to Gordon Ramsay on his Cookalong Live show on Channel 4, the Aussie academician called Jordan a "genius" but said that she was destroying her svelte frame.

"She is destroying herself and that''s not a pretty picture," The Sun quoted her, as saying.

Hollywood filmmaker Guy Ritchie “thanked God” the very moment last night when he came to know that his divorce with pop queen Madonna would be officially announced today.

He was spotted celebrating with a quiet pint on the set of his new film Sherlock Holmes, after being told about the quickie hearing in London.

“He didn’t make a big song and dance about it but he raised his glass to the fact that it is all finally settled,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

“He has never been interested in Madonna’s cash. In fact, he turned down a £10million offer from her because he just wanted to get it sorted swiftly. The only sticking point was the children,” said another source.

The film director, who will not be getting anything out of the Material Girl’s 300million-pound fortune, insisted that his only concern was the children.

“It dragged on much too long. It was never ever about money,” the Mirror quoted him as saying.

According to Guy’s pals, Madonna had offered him 10million pounds, but he turned it down flat.

“It was never about money – never about her bloody art collection. I just wanted to settle it and move on,” Guy said.

“I didn’t raise any objections at any stage until she insisted the children lived permanently in New York,” he added.

The couple will be granted a “quickie” decree nisi in Court 10 of the Principal Registry of the High Court’s family division. (ANI)

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to attend Live Earth concert in Mumbai on Dec. 7

Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be among celebrities who will attend a Live Earth concert in Mumbai on December 7.

Bon Jovi and Pink Floyd''s Roger Waters will be headlining the event.

The event will also see its founder Al Gore, former U.S. Vice President, discussing climate issues.

Other stars attending the event include the Black Eyed Peas'' Will.I.Am, reports the BBC.

Money raised from the concert will be donated to Climate Project India to help fund their educational programs and renewable energy projects.

A part of the proceeds will also go to TERI''s Light a Billion Lives campaign, which provides solar lighting to rural homes without electricity.

Nine cities hosted the first Live Earth concerts on July 7 last year, which saw stars from around the world participating in gigs in cities including London, Johannesburg and Toyko to highlight global warming. (ANI)

King of pop Michael Jackson is being sued by sheikh Abdulla Al-Khalifa over strangest of things, including the singer’s favourite ice-cream.

The tycoon, who is suing the singer for 4.7million pounds after Jackson allegedly reneged on a record deal, has gone to extraordinary lengths to itemise 350,000 pounds of stuff, which he claims he spent on the star – and should be paid back.

And topping the list is a 3.79-pound tub of ice cream followed by 200 pounds of Bodyshop lotions and pampering products.

Among other expensive items on the list include a trip to a toyshop for MJ’s family, a day in a waterpark, one Ferrari and two luxury all-expenses-paid holidays in Dubai.

“It’s the most bizarre list imaginable. Some bills are only for 5 pounds– but the sheikh wants every penny back. The sheikh wants to be compensated for the strangest of things, including Michael’s fave ice cream in the world, Haagen Daaz,” the Mirror quoted an insider, as saying.

The 50-year-old singer, however, claims that the items were gifts.

However, the sheikh’s lawyer, Mr Bankim Thanki QC, said they were to kickstart his career after his criminal trial in 2005. (ANI)

Monty Python launches own YouTube channel

The stars of British comedy troupe Monty Python have launched their own YouTube channel, offering high-quality free clips of some of their most popular skits.

The five surviving Pythons – Michael Palin, Eric Idle, John Cleese, Terry Jones and Terry Gilliam struck back on people who had been illegally uploading their sketches onto the site by taking matters into their own hands.

"We know who you are, we know where you live and we could come after you in ways too horrible to tell," the Telegraph quoted them as writing in a light-hearted message on the website.

"But being the extraordinarily nice chaps we are, we''ve figured a better way to get our own back: We''ve launched our own Monty Python channel on YouTube.

"No more of those crap quality videos you''ve been posting. We''re giving you the real thing – HQ videos delivered straight from our vault," they added.

The site, which went live last week, features celebrated Python clips including Ministry of Silly Walks, Every Sperm is Sacred and the Lumberjack Song, as well as famous scenes from their film Life Of Brian. (ANI)

As Paris Hilton''s publicist has confirmed that the socialite and rocker Benji Madden have called it quits, rumours are making rounds that Prince William might be the ‘culprit’ behind the split.

The ‘Simple Life star’ parted ways with the "Good Charlotte" rocker at the beginning of the week after Hilton was snapped partying with ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos in Miami.

The ex-couple has not been seen together for a week now.

Apparently, Prince William, who spent some time with Hilton while she''s been filming her "My BFF" show in London, is being touted as the cause behind the split.

Reports have claimed that Hilton and Madden recently sealed a rumoured six-figure deal to swing by Australia on New Year''s Eve to attend the launch party for a new social online networking system, Bongo Virus.

While Paris is booked to be the host of the bash, Benji is set to do the spinning.

However, an insider from the Australian company has revealed that the Royal may have had plans to meet up with Paris to ring in the New Year, which perhaps didn’t go down too well with Benji.

"For security reasons, he won''t confirm his attendance until just before, but we''re told he is pretty keen to meet up with Paris," Fox News quoted the source as saying.

In fact, even Bongo Virus confirmed that Prince William had been invited to the New Year''s Eve bash, however, refused to comment further.

A rep for the Royal Family could not be reached.

A source has said that the ultra-quiet Benji can be kind of controlling, which apparently played a significant role in his split from former fiancee Sophie Monk.
