Life of a WAG can be very lonely, says `Atomic Kitten’ singer

If you thought it was all glamour, riches and fun being called a “WAG”, or living that lifestyle, contact “Atomic Kitten” singer Liz McClarnon, for she will tell you a different story.

Liz, who split from Bristol City striker Lee Trundle last December after a brief engagement, says: "It can get very lonely being with a footballer".

"There are a lot of fixtures to play and a fair bit of travelling, so sometimes it was hard to see each other.  My relationship with Lee sort of came to an end. We didn't love each other any more and the split was amicable," The Sun quoted her, as saying.

When asked what she thought of other WAGS? Liz replied: "Some of them are nice, and the girls I know are lovely. But you hear about others who really give them a bad name."

Liz - who was also formally engaged to BLUE singer Lee Ryan - is now going out with someone she will only describe as a "businessman from London".

She explains: "I was always quite open about my relationships in the past, so I'm going to keep this one quiet for a bit, see how that goes."

Liz is relaunching her pop career and hopes to bring out a new album in the next few months. (ANI)
