The dude with the wedding ring is supposedly Anne Hathaway's new mystery man. I don't know anything about it except that I hope for his sake it's just a rumor. That bitch is soulless and were I a heterosexual male I wouldn't want anything to do with her beyond a one-nighter. Did you see what she did to Follieri on Saturday Night Live? Okay, so it's a woman's right to trash her ex after her ex turns out to be a con-artist snake who nearly ruined her reputation. But damn. To do it on live television? Courtney Love's new rocking bod (gag) is the result of a gastric band she had inserted by a quack surgeon two years ago. "Courtney keeps laughing to her friends and saying, ‘Everyone thinks I've had hypnosis but why bother with all that effort? All I did was check myself in and have a fat band fitted'," a source said.

"Courtney has always had problems with her appearance and is convinced she is ugly and fat. Two years ago she had a gastric band fitted at a surgery in Beverly Hills.

"Lots of doctors refused to do it as she was nowhere near obese, just a little overweight, but eventually she found one.

"And as soon as she had the operation the excess weight started to drop off her. Now she is just skin and bones and looks terrible."

I always assumed she was just on crack. Honestly, she thinks she looks better like that? I've seen emaciated corpses that had more sex appeal. Madonna looks like a beauty queen compared to this freak.

They've also apparently been feeding her well. Now she's not just an insufferable bitch, she's a fat, insufferable bitch. And Canadian, which only makes it worse.

You might be forgiven for thinking this was Leonardo DiCaprio - but the hat gives away that it's Brad Pitt. The picture on the notebook is Barack Obama. Brad is carefully studying one side of the presidential race so he can make an informed decision come November. Angelina still hasn't made up her mind between Juggy and Mummy-Arms (I like it better than Crip-Arms). A buck says she ends up writing in herself.

Tina Fey's Palin impression is pretty funny but I fear Ms. Fey is on her way to being over-exposed. The hipster geek thing is a decent bit but I don't know how much farther she can go on it. And McCain's going to lose so Palin won't be any good beyond November. Maybe she could star in a female remake of Scarface.

Popstar Justin Timberlake has reportedly popped the question to girlfriend Jessica Biel, while on their romantic holiday in Italy.

It has been reported that Timberlake went down on his knees on the final night of their weeklong stay in Italy, according to The Mirror.

According to sources, Biel didn’t blink twice before saying yes.

The young couple plans to walk down the aisle in the next 18 months.

The couple had been in Italy for the wedding of the 26-year-old actress''s former ‘7th Heaven’ co-actor Beverly Mitchell to accountant Michael Cameron, reports the Daily Telegraph. (ANI)

Lynne Spears relieved, says ‘things are looking up again’

Britney Spears’ mum Lynne is relieved that her family’s trying times are over and that ‘things are looking up again’ for them.

The mother of Britney and Jamie Lynn loves to spend time with her granddaughter, Maddie, who is "growing out of all her clothes".

And she’s also thrilled with Britney’s gradual recovery to stability and her return to success.

The 53-year-old had confessed that she had no control when Britney went through a public breakdown while her 16-year-old sister got pregnant.

She saw the 26-year-old singer losing custody of her two sons to ex-hubby Kevin Federline, followed by her landing in hospital for mental evaluation - twice.

However, mum Spears insisted that her family was now past the hurdles and happy to be where they were.

"Really wonderful things are happening now. It looks like things are looking up again,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling People magazine.

"The seasons are changing and things are good this year. I am so happy where we are right now," she added.

The author of ‘Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World’ confessed that though she wanted things to happen differently but she cannot control what directs them.

She said: "I had a perfect little plan. But, you can''t control the (kids)'' peers, you can''t control society and you do the best you can."

Hoping a better future for her children, she further added: "I would like smooth sailing for my children." (ANI)

James Bond creator Ian Fleming saved real-life MI6

British author Ian Fleming, creator of the fictional secret agent James Bond, has been named as the person responsible for saving the real-life MI6.

Reports from the secret files, released after more than 60 years to the National Archives at Kew, southwest London, suggest that when war broke out, British naval chiefs began to lobby Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill to let them start their own rival espionage service.

They reason they wanted to have their own spy service was because an army officer had been put in charge of MI6, a post that had traditionally been held by a navy officer.

Fleming, who was then the British Navy''s liaison officer with MI6, steered them away from the idea, warning that if the spy agency was downgraded there was “a grave danger of letting the baby out with the bath water”.

The author had instead suggested on April 1940, to insert “new blood” into the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) by allowing it to be infiltrated by members of the Cambridge spy ring.

“I think that the infusion of new blood into the existing organisation would be better than chopping off hoary but experienced heads,” the Telegraph quoted him as having said.

Fleming, who was a personal assistant to Raer Admiral John Godfery, director of naval intelligence, was put in charge of liaison with MI6.

Godfery at the same time began lobbying for a separate naval secret service, and along with Admiral Sir Dudley Pound, who was the head of the Navy at that time, told Churchill that they should be able to choose their own man to be deputy chief of MI6 for a six month trial period.

At that time, it had been suggested that if the change did not improve the situation, a separate organisation should be set up.

Churchill called for a review into the British intelligence service, but the report cleared MI6 of any failings, senior naval officers continued to lobby for their own service.

However, it was thanks to Fleming, who intervened with Godrey and the naval bosses on behalf of MI6, that a new service never came to fruition. (ANI)
