Madonna’s apartment extension dreams dashed

Madonna’s dreams of extending her apartment in New York have been whipped by the co-op bosses, because they refused the singer to let her buy another property in the building.

The 49-year old entertainer who already owns three luxury apartments in Manhattan has reportedly put in a bid to take over another apartment, but complex big shots have insisted that three homes in the building were more than enough.

Residents also complain of sharing their building with the celebrity neighbour - because paparazzi and fans greet them at the entrance whenever the Material Girl was in town.

An insider has revealed that by rejecting Madonna’s offer, the owners of the building are hoping that she would leave her house, which would be a big relief to the neighbours.

"By rejecting her offer to purchase yet another apartment, they're hoping she'll sell her other three and buy elsewhere... Madonna just causes too much commotion,” Contactmusic quoted the source, as saying. (ANI)
