Oscar winner Dustin Hoffman has revealed that he always wears a lucky pair of socks whenever he takes a flight.

The veteran actor says that he dreads flying, and that a particular pair of socks helps him overcome this fear.

He says that he has been using these socks for years.

"They're the only socks I'll fly with. I have a good experience with them every time I've flown - I've landed!" Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

Meanwhile, Hoffman has reportedly revealed that he did not believe that ‘The Graduate’ would make a bit hit.

In a book titled ‘Pictures at a Revolution’, scheduled for a release in February next year, Hoffman writes that he was not very impressed when he read screenwriter Buck Henry’s script for the film. (ANI)
