Kylie to use Doctor Who Christmas special to relaunch acting career

Aussie pop princess is all set to relaunch her acting career by using the Doctor Who Christmas special show.

It had been reported that Minogue had been cast as a ‘sexy Cyberwoman’ in the Christmas special entitled “Voyage of the Damned”.

However Doctor Who boss Russell T Davies denied it.

The show's chief writer and executive producer added that Minogue misses acting and wants to be in the same discipline once again.

"She missed acting and fancied that discipline again. You forget that she has been in Neighbours, so she is used to knocking out an episode in a day," the Mirror quoted him as saying.

The show will be aired on BBC1 at 6:50 p.m. on Christmas Day. (ANI)
