B4U India: Hilary Swank signs on for ‘Fangland’ Hilary Swank signs on for ‘Fangland’ ================================================================================ ANI India on 06 December, 2007 06:07:00 Hilary Swank has signed on to star in the big screen adaptation of John Marks' novel "Fangland". The pic is being made by Das Films and Blumhouse Prods., and will see Swank playing a TV producer who travels to Romania for an interview with a notorious European arms dealer who happens to be a modern-day Dracula. On board as producers are Sriram Das of Das Films and Jason Blum of Blumhouse as well as the Oscar winning actress, reports Variety. Tracy Underwood is on as executive producer. Script for the film has been penned by Marks and Mark Wheaton. The duo turned in a first-draft adaptation of the book just before the writers strike hit Hollywood. Das Films is also developing an adaptation of the Paulo Coehlo novel "Veronika Decides to Die," while Blumhouse is in post-production on "Accidental Husband." Swank will now be seen on the big screen opposite Gerard Butler in the Richard LaGravanese-directed "P.S. I Love You." (ANI)
