No new proposals for merger with SBI - min

MUMBAI (Reuters) - There was no new proposal to merge more associate banks with India's top lender, state-run State Bank of India, Junior Finance Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal said on Monday.

Beyond an existing proposal to merge one associate with State Bank of India, there were no new proposals for mergers, he said at the sidelines of a banking conference.
