Jindal Drilling bags 1.3 bln rupee ONGC contract

MUMBAI (Reuters) - Off-shore services provider Jindal Drilling & Industries Ltd said on Monday it had bagged a 1.30 billion rupee contract from Oil and Natural Gas Corp.

With this three-year contract through which it will provide drilling equipment and services to ONGC, Jindal Drilling's total order book stands at 26.3 billion rupees, the company said in a statement.

Last month, Jindal Drilling secured a 6.6 billion rupee contract from ONGC for its jack-up rig.

Jindal shares were trading 8.1 percent higher at 1,125 rupees in a weak Mumbai market.
